Reliable Medical Supply, Inc. has been awarded the 2009
ALS Champion of the Year Award

Reliable Medical Supply, the leading Home Medical Equipment provider in Minnesota, was awarded the 2009 ALS Champion of the Year Award at the 2009 ALS "Dinner of Champions" on November 5, 2009. Jeffrey Hall, owner or Reliable Medical Supply, was honored at the gala event sponsored by Wheaties which was hosted at the Northland Inn in Brooklyn Park. Jeffrey Hall and his staff have provide extraordinary service and care for persons with ALS and their families.
Reliable Medical Supply has been Minnesota ALS Chapter's primary Durable Medical Equipment Loan Pool for over 10 years. The event was a night to remember with the awards program, the wonderful auction items and the incredible support with ALS research. Working together, participants helped raise over $139,000. To close the evening, Jim Morris shared his baseball journey and the close connection he had with his grandfather who passed away from ALS while Jim was a young man. The gala was a huge success and Reliable Medical Supply and Jeffrey Hall were honored to be awarded the 2009 Champions of the Year!
Excerpt from the Dinner of Champions Program:
"The ALS Association, Minnesota Chapter created the Champions of the Year Award to honor an individual or an organization who, in our eyes, has been a "Champion" in our fight against ALS. This individual or organization is dedicated to our cause above and beyond the average call of duty. They have exceeded all expectations in helping us raise awareness and funds for patient services and research. In addition, they have supported the growth of our Chapter. Our intention is to honor this individual or organization with immense gratitude for all they have done and continue to do.
Jeffrey Hall and Reliable Medical Supply, Inc. exemplify our idea of an ALS Champion. The company has partnered with our organization for nine years, helping to form and grow the Durable Medical Equipment Loan Closet beyond our expectations. The delivery staff at Reliable Medical Supply, Inc. has contact with almost every person with ALS in the metro area. They take the time necessary to set up the equipment and train the families on how each piece is used. They are the face of our Chapter for the Durable Medical Equipment Loan Pool and they represent us well.
The staff is always willing to go the extra mile in helping people with ALS and our Chapter staff. They have helped find support group speakers, educate other therapists when necessary and share best practices so that people with ALS will always receive the best service possible.
Employees from the company have served on numerous fund-raising committees, formed Walk teams, sell ALS wristbands and volunteer at various events. Jeffrey Hall and Reliable Medical Supply, Inc. have also been major sponsors of the Walk to Defeat ALS and the Dinner of Champions since the inception of both events.
For Reliable Medical Supply, Inc. working with people with ALS is not just another population of people. The staff has been personally touched by ALS, so they know first-hand the importance of the Durable Medical Equipment Loan Pool and the services provided by our Chapter.
