Customer Service - Services We Provide

Customer service means something different at every company and Reliable Medical Supply is no exception.  Our Customer Service Representatives do much more than answer phones and take orders.  Our Customer Service Representatives continually receive extensive training regarding the ever changing world of insurance coverage criteria. Coupled with on-going product education on the latest products and industry news from our manufacturers provides them with the platform of knowledge they need to stay informed and assist you with your home medical equipment needs.

Each Customer Service Representative is personally trained to guide a customer through the initial intake, insurance verification and qualification process, product selection and the delivery process.  Their experience helps to ensure they gather the appropriate documentation to justify reimbursement throughout these processes.

Our Customer Service Representatives deal with a wide variety of product lines and each insurance carrier has different coverage criteria and dispensable amounts per month/year for each product.  As a result, our customer service department is continually trained to understand your insurance carrier’s guidelines.  This strategy allows for each individual to become proficient with your insurance carrier and offer the most knowledgeable service possible.

In addition to the one time transactions we have a large number of customers who get supplies and need to reorder on a monthly basis.  Although any of our Customer Service Representatives are fully qualified to process your order, you may still choose to contact the same representative each month. Having the same contact here at Reliable Medical Supply allows you and your representative to establish a relationship which we feel benefits both parties and promotes continuity of care.

Our Customer Service Representatives do not work on commission.  One of our goals is to gather all the pertinent information to educate the customer which will allow that person to make the best, most informed decision possible.  We do not pressure our staff to sell upgrades but we do educate them to offer options if they are requested.  Insurance companies generally pay for the least costly alternative so if an upgrade is requested our staff will investigate and present all of the financial obligations.
