POSITION DESCRIPTION:    Reliable Medical Supply, leader in Home Medical Equipment and recipient of the National HME Excellence Award and is the proud recipient of the Star Tribune Top Workplaces in Minnesota award for the past six consecutive years, is seeking an HR Generalist to join our Human Resources Team. This position works closely with the management staff to identify performance improvement opportunities and drive results.

Primary activities include, but are not limited to:

•           Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel
•           Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization’s compliance
•           Creates and redesigns job descriptions, analyzes compensation, assists HR Manager and other members of the management team with tools to monitor performance evaluation
•           Updates Employee Handbook
•           Assists with benefit administration and Open Enrollment
•           Conducts full cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions, performs background screening and reference checks
•           New Hire Orientation
•           Processes voluntary and involuntary terminations, conducts Exit Interviews
•           Establishes and maintains Personnel Records
•           Enters all employee data into ADP for Time and Attendance and payroll
•           Assists with payroll and custom reporting
•           Develops and implements employee recognition programs
•           Files and manages Unemployment Claims, conducts unemployment hearings
•           Files and manages Worker Compensation claims

•           Education: Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience
•           Minimum of 2 years of progressive Human Resources experience
•           Understanding of employment law, full cycle recruiting, payroll
•           Excellent communications skills, versatile, strong work ethic

•           Minimum of 2 years of HR experience
•           Must possess experience with full cycle recruiting, payroll and employment law
•           Proven problem-solving skills
