Minimum Qualifications:
Three years of office experience to include administrative responsibility. Patient file maintenance and insurance experience preferred. Must have knowledge of reimbursement and ability to interpret medical terminology. Must have excellent computer skills and be able to deal effectively with employees, customers and referral sources. Must be able to effectively communicate and operate necessary software for scope of job description.
Overall Responsibility:
- Calls perspective clients to introduce the company, gather and enter patient and insurance demographics and schedule appointments for the clients
- Schedule ATP Evaluations
- Triage Incoming Referrals
- Calls to confirm appointments one week prior to appointment date and time
- Provides thorough follow-up on all paperwork
- Prepares correspondence
- Mail consent forms and project update letters
- Scan and distribute mail
- Scan and distribute new projects to support staff
- Verification of insurance
- Answers emails
- Accurately and efficiently enters in data
- Creates and maintains medical files
- Creates new project workflow
- General administrative duties
- Practices and adheres to all HIPPA, HQAA and Compliance rules and regulations
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Continuing Education:
Reviews pertinent industry literature regularly
Attends in-services on new product and technology
Attends self-development seminars on sales support
