Rehab CEU Seminar: Brooklyn Park
Our Fall Rehab Continuing Educational Credits (CEU) Course will be offered two dates and in two locations. This is the registration for our course in Brooklyn Park, MN. Please note there are differences in courses offered in both locations.
Participants will gain insight in three different courses, all of which will give you a broad range of information. The first course is Acquired Brain Injury: Meeting Wheeled Mobility Needs. With this course attendees will be able to describe three common functional limitations that occur following Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). The second course To Delivery and Beyond: Raising the Bar for Functional Outcomes attendees will define 3 components of final fitting of the seating system to reduce postural compensation. And the third course Learning Through Moving: Pediatric Wheeled Mobility will explain the potential of using assistive technology to promote mobility experiences to a child's development. .
Ashley Detterbeck, DPT, ATP, SMS
Ashley is currently the Regional Clinical Education Manager with Permobil. Ashley joins Permobil following a 13-year career in seating and mobility with the Marshfield Clinic, Marshfield, WI. In addition to running the seating clinic, she provided neurological and pediatric care, gait analysis, and participated in ongoing research with BOTOX and Walk Aide. With Permobil, Ashley is currently presenting educational programs to therapists and DME providers regarding seating, mobility and pressure injury prevention.
Credit Hours: 6 Contact Hours

Registration Fee: $30
A light breakfast will be provided during registration, and lunch will be provided at 11 am.
