Reliable Medical: We're Finding the Right Markets. 

April 2023,  Reliable Medical closed on two acquisitions and opened five new locations in a busy first quarter of 2023. The company acquired Tusk Mobility in Northpoint, Ala., and Capstone Medical Partners in Lakewood, Wash., two upstart complex rehab providers, and opened new locations in California, Indiana, Tennessee and Florida (Tampa and Orlando).

Kyle Walker named Regional Vice President

July 2022, Kyle Walker has been named Regional Vice President in charge of the Central region. He has spent the majority of his career in the rehabilitation field with a focus in assistive technologies. Kyle has worked in numerous capacities in the field from a practicing provider, leading national operations, to contracting and business development in commercial and workers compensation. Kyle currently holds his ATP certificate, a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Iowa State University, and his master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Purdue University. Kyle is currently the Vice-chair of RESNAs Professional Standards Board, and member of RESNAs Development Board. He regularly reviews scientific papers in assistive technology and is an advisory board member for the University of Pittsburgh’s Masters of Rehabilitation Technology program.

CRT, Inc. was founded in 2014 and has since become a leading provider of complex rehab solutions in Texas. With the addition of CRT, Reliable expands its commitment to excellence to a larger client base in need of customized mobility equipment.

Deborah Wade Announced as CFO at Reliable Medical. 

May 2021- Reliable Medical is proud to announce that Deborah Wade has been named Chief Financial Officer. Deborah Wade joined the Reliable Medical team in 2020. Having worked the majority of her career working in complex rehab in various different markets. She has held various financial leadership positions throughout her career. With her experience with financial forecasting, M&A work, financial and operational data analytics, operations across a mix of home medical equipment specialties. Her focus is providing oversight and direction for financial reporting and process improvement.  Deborah earned her Bachelors of Applied Science in Accounting from Auburn University. 

 

Exciting Changes Happening at Reliable Medical. 

December 2020 – Reliable Medical Supply (“RMS”), a leading provider complex rehab technology (“CRT”), clinical respiratory products, and durable medical equipment (“DME”) and supplies is pleased to announce that Debra Kalk (“Debbie”) will be moving into the role of Culture and Advocacy Ambassador, with Katie Stevens stepping into the Chief Executive Officer role for the organization.  Debbie has been with RMS for over 20 years and will continue to help the Company navigate its next phase of growth. Prior to assuming the CEO role, Katie oversaw operations at RMS and led the Company’s integration efforts as it expanded its geographic footprint into three new states over the past 18 months.

“It has been an honor to serve Reliable Medical as its CEO” stated Debra Kalk. “I am excited to continue to serve RMS and our customers in a role that will give me more time with family as I move closer to retirement. I am excited to remain connected to our people and maintain engagement with our industry which requires all hands-on deck in the face of Covid-19. I am also very happy to see Katie Stevens step into the CEO role. When determining my successor, I selected Katie based not only on her skill set and experience, but her dedication to our people, clients, and core values.”


In addition to her ongoing role at RMS, Debbie will continue pursuing complex rehabilitation advocacy as an active member on the board of NCART and with other industry organizations. 
Prior to joining Reliable Medical Supply, Katie Stevens spent 14 years in various leadership roles in the complex rehab technology industry. Since joining the Reliable team in January 2020, she has worked closely with Debbie, RMS’ growing management team, and strategic industry partners to develop strategic growth plans, solve operational challenges stemming from Covid-19, and maintain a strong company culture as a Top Workplace in Minnesota for six consecutive years.
