December 2020 – Reliable Medical Supply (“RMS”), a leading provider complex rehab technology (“CRT”), clinical respiratory products, and durable medical equipment (“DME”) and supplies is pleased to announce that Debra Kalk (“Debbie”) will be moving into the role of Culture and Advocacy Ambassador, with Katie Stevens stepping into the Chief Executive Officer role for the organization.  Debbie has been with RMS for over 20 years and will continue to help the Company navigate its next phase of growth. Prior to assuming the CEO role, Katie oversaw operations at RMS and led the Company’s integration efforts as it expanded its geographic footprint into three new states over the past 18 months.

“It has been an honor to serve Reliable Medical as its CEO” stated Debra Kalk. “I am excited to continue to serve RMS and our customers in a role that will give me more time with family as I move closer to retirement. I am excited to remain connected to our people and maintain engagement with our industry which requires all hands-on deck in the face of Covid-19. I am also very happy to see Katie Stevens step into the CEO role. When determining my successor, I selected Katie based not only on her skill set and experience, but her dedication to our people, clients, and core values.”

In addition to her ongoing role at RMS, Debbie will continue pursuing complex rehabilitation advocacy as an active member on the board of NCART and with other industry organizations.
Prior to joining Reliable Medical Supply, Katie Stevens spent 14 years in various leadership roles in the complex rehab technology industry. Since joining the Reliable team in January 2020, she has worked closely with Debbie, RMS’ growing management team, and strategic industry partners to develop strategic growth plans, solve operational challenges stemming from Covid-19, and maintain a strong company culture as a Top Workplace in Minnesota for six consecutive years.
